William Stanley’s AC on Main Street: Wednesday, Nov. 9th

with No Comments

We know (and are proud) that AC electricity began right here in Great Barrington 130 years ago–the first town anywhere to be wired with the energy of the future. It’s a fascinating story, and at the Great Barrington Historical Society’s November 9th program, local historian Jamie Parrish will explain how inventor William Stanley made this happen, changing American life from then on. Please join us for this FREE event at the Claire Teague Senior Center, 917 South Main Street (Route 7) in GB at 7pm.
