New items for sale have been pouring into the big barn behind the Great Barrington Historical Society Museum. Everything is priced to sell. Low prices, no nonsense, no reasonable offer refused. The sale is Friday, September 1st and Saturday, September 2nd, from 9am to 4pm at the GBHS Museum at the Wheeler Farmstead, 817 South Main Street (Route 7), Great Barrington.

Our barn is packed with excellent old antiques, lots of jewelry, glass, and china. We have a 1970s pinball machine (see photo below), prints, a colonial pine desk, Star Wars displays, a bicycle, even a 1930s car radio. There’s also hardware, ephemera, paintings, art, advertising, postcards, old watches andirons, typewriters, man-cave stuff . . . too much to list. In fact, we’re still opening boxes!

And . . .the Dutch Wagon House is still filled with lots of books, which we’ve restocked since the very successful Antiques Show & Flea Market on July 29th.
