We’re still looking for handcrafted or homemade gifts to feature this holiday season in our Museum gift area. As a historical society, the GBHS honors and encourages the craftsmen and craftswomen who pursue and exhibit traditional and historical handcrafting skills.
Would you consider donating an item or more to the Society to place in our holiday gift shop? We’re looking to restock our shelves right up until Christmas Eve! Doreen Atwood is our “Holiday Coordinator.”
These Include (but are not limited to) wooden items, photography, prints, note cards, pot holders, aprons, placemats, quilts, mittens, socks, scarves, hats, candles, table centerpieces, breadboards, ceramics/pottery, grapevine wreaths, soaps, toys, games, stuffed animals, dolls, and much more.
By donating your quality items and talents to the Society, you’ll be supporting our programs and exhibits. Your work can be accompanied by your card in order to promote your craft business. All items will be reviewed for appropriateness. Please contact Doreen for additional details at 413-691-8702, or email us at [email protected]. Don’t forget–we also accept donations of old Christmas decorations in good condition!
