A full house for GBHS program on Portraits from the Past in October

with No Comments

Mike Fitzpatrick spoke at the Society’s Portraits from the Past program in October. It drew a full (but socially-distanced) house at the Society’s first program at the Claire Teague Senior Center in over a year.

The retired GB Fire Chief gave the audience a chance to test and share their memories as he showed slides of those treasured people now gone but not forgotten. A wonderful and nostalgic evening was enjoyed by all.

A reminder to everyone that the Museum is open on Saturdays and Sundays from 10 am to 2 pm through the end of the year. Admission is free and masks are required. If you visit on Sunday, don’t miss the expanded Book Nook which has hundreds of books available – most for only a $1.00 donation each.
