By popular demand, the Great Barrington Historical Society is bringing back a sequel to “Businesses in Barrington Gone But Not Forgotten” with a program on Wednesday, June 5th. Mike Fitzpatrick, Jane Greene and Gary Leveille are featured speakers and a coordinating exhibit will run all summer at the Museum.
To make the exhibit a success, we’re asking for anyone who owned a business or who has items from a bygone business to loan those items to the museum on a short-term basis. Items should be donated starting now, so we can plan and create the display in time for the opening on Saturday, June 15th. Call GBHS Executive Director Bob Krol at the Museum (413-591-8702) or stop in Monday through Thursdays from 8:30 am to 12 noon, or Sundays from 9 am to 2pm.
Let’s all pitch in to make the “Part II” sequel even better than the first!
