Through the month of February, the Great Barrington Historical Society’s Town Museum at the Wheeler Farmstead is featuring a table display of Great Barrington American Legion Post 127 artifacts, including flags, banners, citations, and awards. Of special interest are a complete collection of Stars and Stripes covering 1918-1919, a great World War I scrapbook, Great Barrington veteran grave registrations and maps of grave site locations dating back to the Revolution, and service medals from the Spanish-American War and the Chinese expedition of 1900-1901. The display will run through Sunday Feb. 19th.

The Museum, located at 817 South Main Street (Route 7) in Great Barrington is open for tours on Saturdays from 10am to 2pm. You can also visit this display on Sundays from 9am to 1pm and Mondays through Thursdays from 9am to 12 noon.

The Society wishes to thank Mr. Achilles J. Zanetti for donating these valuable and interesting artifacts to our town museum.
