Do you enjoy making crafts? Would you consider donating one item or more to the Historical Society to place in our History ExchangeThe Exchange was such a hit over the holidays that we decided to continue it year-round.

As a historical society, the GBHS honors and encourages the craftsmen and craftswomen who pursue traditional and historical handcrafting skills. The Society’s “gift shop” area in the Museum is looking for quality handcrafted items to feature in our gift area.

These Include (but are not limited to) wooden items, photography, prints, note cards, pot holders, aprons, placemats, quilts, mittens, socks, scarves, hats, candles, table centerpieces, grapevine wreaths, soaps, toys, games, stuffed animals, dolls, jewelry, and much more. Doreen Atwood is our “Exchange Coordinator.”

By donating your quality items and talents to the Society, you’ll be supporting our programs and exhibits. Your work can be accompanied by your card in order to promote your craft business. All items will be reviewed for appropriateness. Please contact Doreen for additional details at 413-691-8702, or email us at info@gbhistory.org.
